What Is Calculus?
Calculus is a branch of mathematics that deals with the study of rates of change. It helps provide a framework for modeling scenarios in which change is involved and a way to extrapolate the predictions of such models (Source: Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)). Calculus 1, known as single-variable calculus, is the study of the basic concepts of calculus, including limits, derivatives, and integrals.
A-level mathematics typically covers both single-variable and multi-variable calculus, including limits, differentiation, integration, and calculus applications to problems in physics, engineering, and economics problems.
However, the specific topics covered in an A-level math curriculum may vary depending on the examining board or school. I suggest you check the curriculum of the particular exam board you are studying with to confirm whether Calculus 1 is included or not.

Does A Level Math Include Calculus?
